COVID-19 Health & Safety Guidelines


I. Miami New Drama leads with limited contact between individuals. 

  1. A member of Miami New Drama’s staff has been designated as the COVID-19 Health & Safety Manager. This individual will oversee and enforce the safety plan, and ensure safety protocol is adhered to.

  2. Miami New Drama staff is fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

  3. If an individual is feeling ill or has a temperature prior to arriving at the theatre, the Health & Safety Manager will direct the individual to return home immediately or stay home to isolate and contact their licensed health care provider for further instructions. 



  1. Patrons will be required to wear a mask during performances. Individuals can bring their own mask or a mask will be provided.  

  2. Hand sanitizer will be provided. 

  3. Proper CDC signage will be placed at entrances and high traffic locations emphasizing safety measures. 


III. Symptom Onset 

  1. If an individual tests positive and exhibits symptoms, they must have had 3 days with no fever, no symptoms, and at least 10 days from symptom onset before they can come to the theatre. Tests must come back negative.

  2. If individuals report at least one symptom before or during a performance, they will be directed to stay home or return home immediately and contact their licensed health care provider for further instructions. 


Portions of this plan were developed in consultation with Actors’ Equity Association, Miami-Dade County, and the City of Miami Beach and previously used for the production of 7 Deadly Sins on Lincoln Rd from Nov 2020-Jan 2021.
